Dr. Jason Morris
For more than 20 years, Dr. Jason Morris has been caring for families throughout Southwest Louisiana. He has proudly served the Lake Charles community since February 2004, providing compassionate, patient-focused healthcare for individuals of all ages.
As a full-service primary care physician, Dr. Morris believes in building lasting relationships with his patients by focusing on prevention, early diagnosis, and personalized treatment plans that support lifelong health. Whether you need routine wellness care, management of chronic conditions, or treatment for acute illnesses, his goal is to provide comprehensive medical care under one roof.
Dr. Morris earned his Bachelor of Science degree from McNeese State University in 1995 before completing a Master of Science degree and his Doctor of Medicine at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He went on to complete both his internship and Family Medicine residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
In addition to traditional primary care, Dr. Morris has expanded his practice to help patients improve their overall health, energy, and quality of life. He is a certified provider of EvexiPEL® Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) for both men and women, helping patients address symptoms related to hormone imbalance. He also offers physician-supervised medical weight loss programs featuring compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, giving patients safe, effective options to achieve sustainable weight loss under medical guidance.
Dr. Morris is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians.

Katie Saltzman
Katie is a proud wife and mother of five who is blessed to call Ragley, Louisiana, home. She has had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Morris since 2013, serving in several important roles including Medical Assistant, Office Manager, and Receptionist.
Throughout her career, Katie has developed a genuine passion for helping patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. She values the relationships she has built with patients and families over the years and takes pride in being part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate, personal care.
For Katie, both family and her career are an important part of who she is. She brings that same sense of dedication, kindness, and commitment to the Better Health team and looks forward to continuing to serve the families of our community.
Alysia Moss
Alysia is a devoted mother of four who proudly calls DeQuincy, Louisiana, home. Since 2023, she has had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Morris as his assistant, where she is committed to providing compassionate, dependable, and personalized care to every patient.
Alysia believes that meaningful relationships are an important part of quality healthcare. She takes the time to help each patient feel comfortable, valued, and supported throughout their experience. Her dedication to serving others is reflected in the kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail she brings to her work each day.
Outside of the office, Alysia treasures spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with her children. She is proud to be part of the Better Health team and looks forward to continuing to care for the patients and families of the community.
